For those who are not in the CMC or do not read your email, the Chairman has emailed Mdm Lim about the Class General meeting.

Dear Mdm. Lim, The discussion points of today's class general meeting are as follows: 1) Feedback-seating arrangement is too crammed.-rules are rather strict-timothy is not faring well as a monitor (note: there has been continued prejudice towards Timothy, thus this comment might not be viable.)-A need to control Matthew and Timothy 2) Suggestions-Class Cleanliness: a) Have certain cloths or fabrics in place. b) Clear the beehive. c) Pupils on duty should alter weekly instead of daily.-Help students academically: a) Implement a study group for each subject - consists of the five strongest and weakest pupils for that particular subject (buddying system). b) Have a shelf to contain all the files/homework on the submission date.-Recreational activities: a) Monthly sports and games - soccer and basketball b) Termly Movie & Music appreciation by Mr. Tan BB. The following is what the CMC has discussed earlier this term, but is still in the finalizing and proposal stage (excluding the points that have been mentioned in the CG meeting):Recreation:-Teambuilding games- Board games- Termly birthday party (this term's will be held on Term 2 wk 1, afternoon) Academics and cognitive area:- Allow students to share knowledge related to the curricular subjects with the class.- Occasional forums/discussion ON geography, history and language arts- Math reward system: Allow students to design mathematical questions related to the topics in the Math syllabus. Reward pupils with good analytical questions. Additional:- CIP events [The planned visit to the Indie Doc Fest may not materialize, due to expensive prices and packed schedules - CiT camps, external CIPs, Tuition, External Courses/ examinations, etc. I have asked around and have received the above responses (including my own)] .
