Each day is special.

Hi all,
Sorry for really late posting like on today, cause I was busy mugging for a General Knowledge Competition yesterday (Mugging: Refers to the long staring at or gazing at of long and complicated facts that make no sense but yet still have to be memorised. E.g. Current UN secretary General - Ban Ki-Moon from South Korea. Guy before him? Kofi Annan, from Ghana. But seriously, who cares about Kofi Annan?)

Anyway, not to bore you with my competition stuff (HCJC won by the way, who was followed by VJC and was followed by NUS. Yeah, NUS like UNIVERSITY, not the Maths and Science one), I would like to express my neutrality towards Mark (thanks for commending me, which is seriously a waste of keyboard time but nvm, and I HATE you for breaking my record. LOL).

To add on to Cheng Yao's point on the CIT nominations, Glendon Goh, iSpark Council Chairman, my Sec 3 debate senior, a really good debater and a really bad singer, is going to be the one who's going to decide on whether we're going to be kicked out or not, so we can't use Glendon, Cheng Yao. That's really unfair.

So yeah, main point on homework.
1. Scarlet Ibis story grid (if you have not completed it yet)
2. Chinese composition
3. Maths numerals worksheet
4. Art (if you have not completed it yet)
5. Geography worksheet (if you have not completed it yet)
6. Create your blog for English
(Quoted from Mark)
7. History research and presentation preparation
Yeah, i know, I shouldn't be quoting, but considering that I haven't done my CL compo, my Art, my Geog and my RTA, I really can't afford the liberty of doing so.

Thank you Cheng Yao, for pointing out that Matthew's speech's flaw is Aurum potestas est, which people like Ziying will know very well that this s Artemis Fowl's family motto. However, as our debate senior mentioned, "ANGLES is not only a major flirting event organised by HCI, NYGH and SCGS. It is also a great opportunity for you to fluff. You can go up there with lines of rhetoric and no logic, no analysis, no content about what you're speaking about, and you still can win." Not that I'm saying that Matthew is bad or I'm good, but point is debating is a hell of a difference with Public Speaking, so yeah.

Final point: Cheng Yao(no offence to you), the words "utopic society" sound nice, but they must be used appropriately. Utopia refers to perfectness, a perfect world, a perfect situation, and the phrase "utopic society" was mentioned when I said that for the debate we were doing, feasibility issues should not be considered. However, when you create class rules, you are not aiming for utopia, you are aiming for a better situation, you are aiming for an improvement, you are aiming for a raise in the class standards to a better and more widely accepted ones for the teachers and you are NOT aiming for a perfect class. There is a difference between a "good class" and a "perfect class". (NOTE: I'm NOT, emphasis d**n heavily on NOT, being a smart alec. Please don't get the impression that I am. Seriously, I'm not. One person who has that mistaken impression bad enough liao.)

Yup, that's all. I still have to rush many subjects, so I really got to hurry. Thus, I shall get back my record when I am free. So that's all, and adios!

Cheers,
Darrel

P.S. I shall be creating a new blog soon, first because I must, and second because I want. Look out for it! (I sound really egoistic, don't I?)
P.P.S. To bring across the point: I'm not being a smart alec! Seriously! You don't get the annoyance and desperation I feel! It's like calling Charlie Gordon a worthy candidate for the U.S. Presidential Election 2012!
P.P.S. I agree with the person who says that Mark shouldn't say that he is rejected. Don't concede the battle before fighting it. Who knows, you might be the next HSC President. You might even be the next president as in like SG president. So yeah.
