2. English Comprehension(The one with newspaper and stuff)

Thank you Mark, for complementing me. However, I am surprised that for all of Mark's astonishing symbolism knowledge and comprehension, he doesn't realise that the people who talked about the colour white were actually speaking the best speeches of the competition. How so? Well, white is a symbol for purity. It is shown as the colour for an angel's wings and gown, and Jesus is commonly portrayed as an old man in a white gown. A piece of paper is supposedly white before anything has been written upon it and that it is not "dirtied" or in other words, impure.
However, Elvis, the person who continually spoke about the layer of white paint, and my fellow debater, was the best of all. He was actually referring to the milky film, or layer of cells, that covers a blind man's eyes. His subtle referrences to that, and the blindness of human nature, was actually a really brilliant speech. It was one of the few speech that really had very very good metaphorical content.
Anyway, yeah, still got homework in general to rush, sayonara and bye! Actually, I'm signing off cause most of the others want to use the computer(I'm in class), so yeah.
